Scouring
Scouring is a process of removing natural as well as added impurities like oil, fat, wax
from textiles. The process also enhances the absorbency of the textile. It removes all
the waxes, pectins and makes the textile material hydrophilic or water absorbent.
Bleaching
It is the chemical process at removing the natural color from a textile. Natural fibres
like cotton , linen, wool have a natural off-white color bodies present. It helps
discolouration of these color bodies to offer the super white color to fibres.
Dyeing & Printing
Dyeing is the process of imparting color to a medium. Dyes come in a host of variety and
find applications like textiles, leather and plastics etc. Printing is a process of
creating impressions on paper, cloth, leather or any material.
Finishing
Finishing is a process of refining a fabric or yarn after the dyeing process. This
primarily is done to enhance the look and feel of the material and to make it acceptable
in appearance.
