Introduction:
While following multiple steps for textile production, scouring and bleaching are
two of the processes that are generally overlooked. Considering the fact that fibers
generally are neither perfectly white to start with, nor free of impurities; these
are necessary and potentially environmentally harmful steps. Here are some
innovative alternatives.
Scouring allows for removing the protective pectin layer/non-cellulosic components
found in native cotton while also getting rid of other impurities. This process
allows producers to easily bleach and dye the fabrics. SUJ PRODUCT solution also has
an eco-friendly alternative that allows for bio-scouring the fabrics with as little
harm as possible to the environment. Scouring process also does not demolish as much
raw cotton in this process as chemicals do, so producers are left with more cotton
from their raw materials.
After scouring, residues of hydrogen peroxide are left in the bath, and need to be
completely removed prior to the dyeing process, using a step called Bleaching.
Incomplete peroxide removal results in poor dyeing with distinct change of color
shade and intensity, as well as patchy, inconsistent dye distribution. Hence, the
main objective of bleaching is to get the sufficiently high and uniform degree of
whiteness along with high absorbing nature of the fabric.

| SUJ DET L-25-40 | SUJ DET L-25-40 is an anionic surface active agent with excellent wetting, penetrating and detergent characteristics. The Aqueous solution of SUJ DET L-25-40 though soap-like in character, forms an excellent and permanent lather and has a greater cleaning action than soap. It is stable in hard water and when hard water is used goods can be washed off completely without deposition of lime soaps. Unlike soap, SUJ DET L-25-40 has no felting properties. |

Dyeing is the process of adding color to textile products like fibers, yarns, and
fabrics. Dyeing is normally done in a special solution containing dyes and
particular chemical material. After dyeing, dye molecules have uncut chemical
bond with fiber molecules. The temperature and time controlling are two key
factors in dyeing.
Dyeing mainly aims at dissolving the dye in water, which will be transferred to
the fabric to produce colored fabric under certain conditions. In dyeing, color
is applied in the form of solutions, whereas color is applied in the form of a
thick paste of the dye in printing.
| SUJ LEVA R | SUJ LEVA R is a Leveling Agent for Disperse, Acid & Reactive Dyes having good stability to dilute Acids & Alkalis, Hard Water & Salt Solutions. It has good miscibility in all proportions in Hot Water. It is necessary in dyeing for achieving maximum fixation of dyestuff & it has affinity for dyestuffs as a result of which loosened dyestuff combines with SUJ LEVA R and is then effectively removed in the washing off. It, thus not only removes the unfixed dyestuff, but also prevents its Re-absorption by the substrate. |

| Suj Echo-Friendly DFT |
Textile printing is the process of applying color to fabric in definite patterns
or designs. In properly printed fabrics the color is bonded with the fiber, so
as to resist washing and friction. Textile printing is related to dyeing but,
whereas in dyeing proper the whole fabric is uniformly covered with one color,
in printing one or more colors are applied to it in certain parts only, and in
sharply defined patterns.
In printing, wooden blocks, stencils, engraved plates, rollers, or silk-screens
can be used to place colors on the fabric. Colorants used in printing contain
dyes thickened to prevent the color from spreading by capillary attraction
beyond the limits of the pattern or design.

| SUJ PHILIC (S) | Suj Philic S is a hydrophilic micro concentrate of new generation silicone copolymer having reactive groups in the chain. It imparts excellent hydrophilic nature in the fabric especially in terry towel, polyester-cotton and polyester woven, non-woven and mercerized knitted fabric. It is unique to impart hydrophilicity in addition to excellent surface smoothness and antistatic properties. Fabric treated with Suj Philic S can be easily re-dyed without any problem with dye absorbency in the fabric. It is suitable for padding as well garment washing to a broad range of cotton, blend and viscose fabric. It is also suitable for knitted fabric in soft flow machine where liquor ratio is low. It is dilatable to any concentration and stable in all concentrations. |
